David Bowie is in Groningen! In the context of the exhibition in the Groninger Museum, there is much more to see and to experience! On Sunday 13th of december 2015 there was Bowiemania in the city centre. Big shot that you walked into Bowie look-a-likes. From Soul-Bowies to the Goblin King. The Blind Roofers closed the Bowiemania on the Waagplein. Together with the Paraformers they’ve blown the Waagplein away!
Bowiemania was commissioned by Marketing Groningen. We were challenged to get the David Bowie buzz that was online, to the city centre.
The Bowie exposition has ended and the Groninger Museum scored national publicity and a record of visitors (200.000). We developed the concept, the name, artwork and the production of this event.
